Your Story - Worthiness Warrior

Welcome Warrior!

I am SO excited that you are considering submitting your own story to become part of the worthy community. Being a Worthiness Warrior is about standing in your truth and telling your story. Being open about the way you have moved through life, and contributing and standing within your vulnerability to help show what is possible. I think if enough of us tell our stores and inspire each other to create revolutions within ourselves, then we can really start changing the world.

Below are some FAQ’s about the process, some guidelines and at the bottom, is the section in which you can submit your story!

“When you write your truth, it is a love offering to the world because it helps us feel braver and less alone.”

Glennon Doyle Melton

Author of Love Warrior

I’m nervous about sharing my story. How deep do I need to go?

I want to be really clear on my intention. My intention is for you to share what feels good, so others can see what is possible when we are true to ourselves. So be open. Be vulnerable. Get excited to share your story so others can see and know what is possible when we look after ourselves and make decisions that feel true to who we are. The the message of this platform centers around self care, mental health awareness and worthiness, so as long as it is in line with any of those, you will be good to go!

Just remember that this is a public forum, so know your boundaries, maintain them and share what feels safe. If you’re true to your boundaries. To put it another way, we are asking that you choose one life story, but you are not expected to share your darkest truth, your hardest journey or your most triggering trauma. Of course it could be monumental, like a breakdown and how you rose up again. Or it could be small - putting on red lipstick and feeling worthy for the first time. Just remember to take care of yourself here, too.

I haven’t had a diagnosis/I haven’t struggled with my mental health before. Can I still submit a story? Will it still be relevant?

YES!!! You don’t have to have had a diagnosis to submit a story. You don’t even have to have struggled with mental health in any way to submit a story! The idea of this is to break down the barriers and get everyone talking. To show we all have self care practices and that we all should be taking care of our mental health and working on our emotional intelligence. No matter who you are or where you are at in your life. Everyone’s story matters.

Revolution is a big word…I’m not sure I’ve had one of those…

Remember, for She Be Red, a revolution is just a positive change. Something that helped you grow. An event or self care practice that gave you an aha moment or led to positive momentum. It can be huge if you want…but it doesn’t have to be. Every story matters.

Ok, let’s do this! What are the guidelines?

Tell the story of the mountains you climbed. Your words could become a page in someone else's survival guide

So you’re ready to start writing! Here are the guidelines!

There are 3 categories:

  1. Self care: tell us about a self care practice you LOVE and what it does for you.

  2. Mental health awareness: have you overcome a mental health problem? Or been affected by someone else’s journey?

  3. Worthiness: tell us about your journey to feeling worthy…whether that’s worthy of self love, love in general, this life, being respected etc.

As long as you are in line with any of those you are good to go! If you’re not sure where to start, here’s what I use.

  • What are the events or actions leading to your mini revolution?

  • What was your mini revolution? The shift that happened? The change in your mindset?

  • What effect did this revolution had on your life?

Worthy Code:

We have just a couple things we require in order for your story to be featured on the site.

  1. It has to be a page or less in length.

  2. It has to be centered around mental health awareness, self care or the concept of worthiness.

  3. It cannot be deemed harmful to another person. We will change names, make the post anonymous or send it back out to you if we feel for any reason that this is the case.

  4. It can absolutely have a gritty baseline but it has to have a positive outcome. Remember this is a movement for empowerment and positive change :)

If you’re ready to submit, enter your story below and we will be in touch with you!

Thank you so much for being here and I can’t wait to read your story!
